Tina P. Schwartz, Author & Public Speaker Tina P. Schwartz lives in Gurnee, Illinois with her husband Marc. They have three grown kids. She enjoys writing for children and adults, both fiction and nonfiction. Tina loves meeting many, many kids while doing author visits at schools and libraries, as well as book signings at stores.
A Columbia College-Chicago graduate, with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Communication, Mrs. Schwartz worked in Advertising for several years until becoming a mother. She then began writing and worked part-time as an Assistant Youth Librarian. Now Mrs. Schwartz has become a full-time free-lance writer and Literary Agent. Schwartz started out selling TEN of her own traditionally published books, then in 2012, created The Purcell Agency. (See www.ThePurcellAgency.com for more info.) Tina is a self-proclaimed tomboy who enjoys reading, playing sports, watching extreme sports, watching movies and she loves dogs and children. |
